Located within one of London's most desired squares, only moments away from Hyde Park and Oxford Street, this one bedroom apartment was very tired and lacked any appeal. The interior was shabby and dated; the galley kitchen was dark and uninviting, with little space to manoeuvre, and hardly any room to dine. This property was in urgent need of an update and we knew just how to transform it.
We were tasked with the project management of the complete renovation and were asked to create a design scheme that would inject character, interest and functionality into the space. We answered the brief by taking down the walls between the kitchen and living room to create a more functional, open plan space. This also provided enough room for the essential dining area.
We designed and installed this new kitchen with stone worktop, gold tone glass splashbacks, to match the brass inlays, and included all modern integrated appliances. This instantly elevated the property's appeal!

Another key addition was the installation of skylights in both the kitchen and bathroom, which brought more natural daylight and increased the feeling of space. The outdated bathroom underwent a complete overhaul - we opted for a large walk-in shower rather than a small bath; we chose oversized tiles, which were installed vertically to draw the eye upwards and give the illusion of more height; a big wall mirror was installed above the vanity to also reflect more light.

The bedroom's layout was reconfigured to make better use of the space and a built in cupboard was installed, giving the room a more modern, contemporary look.
We based the design concept on tranquil sage greens and calming greys with pops of gold for a complimenting contrast. Mango wood furniture with brass finishes, marble top coffee and side tables and gold accessories throughout, gave testament to our commitment to bring in a touch of luxury to every design. Textured cushions and fabrics, scented candles and diffusers added the final touches to styling the apartment so it is move in ready.
